Dogs
has been always a part of our lives. Carita has had airedale
and beagles, Harri had beagle and other hunting dogs at home
as kid. We engaged 1987 and our first dog was westie called
Eetu. At the moment we have six sealyhams at home.
We
got our prefix at 1994. Breeding is our hobby, so puppies
will come every now and then, when we have enough time to
take care of them. We both work fulltime, Carita as first
office manager at the Finnish Sea Service Oy and Harri as
financial director at Rauma City Theatre.
With
dogs came also other activities, local all breed clubs, breed
clubs etc. We made the WHWT club magazine from 1996 to 2002.
We were awarded by the Finnish Club in the Breed Magazine
Competition at 2001.
Today
Carita writes articles for Finnish Terrier Club's magazine
Terrilife. She is also secretary of the local all breed club,
secretary of all breed dog show committee and of course the
secretary of The Finnish Sealyhamterrier Club. Harri is chairman
of The Finnish Sealyhamterrier Club, all breed dog show committee
and WHWT show committee and board member of The West Highland
White Terrier Club of Finland.
We
show our dogs in Finland and abroad. If we are not showing,
you can find us stewarding or in other duties in the show.
With sealyhams we have been very lucky to find such many good
friends around the world.
We
have imported dogs from Canada, Denmark, Sweden and UK. We
have exported dogs to Australia, Canada, Israel, UK, Norway
and Poland.
First
15 active years together with dogs has been joyful and we
are really looking forward the years to come.
